01

Why this workshop.

Every day, search engines, voice assistants, review sites, and the assistants inside customers' phones hand out recommendations for "best [your kind of business] in [your city]." If your business isn't in the answer, the customer never knew you existed. They picked someone else and never looked back.

Customers can't choose you if they can't find you. Most owners don't know how wide their gap is.

Most owners have read an article or watched a video about "local SEO" and still have no idea where their actual business shows up. YouTube can give you a checklist. It cannot run the checks on your business, tell you which fix to do first, or sit with you while you do it. That's the gap this workshop closes.

One hour. Live. We work on your business. You leave with a priority list and the first fix already started.

02

What we'll actually do together.

Four things, in this order, with me on your screen running the same checks I run with retainer clients.

1

We run the audit on your real business, live

Not a slide deck about "what to check." We type your actual business into the actual tools customers use, in your actual zip code, and we watch what comes back. Search engines. Voice assistants. AI search tools. Review sites. Map results. You see your business through a stranger's eyes for the first time. Some of it will surprise you. Some of it will sting. Both are useful.

2

We name the businesses being recommended in your place

Specific competitors. Real business names. The ones a customer in your area is getting pointed to when they could have been pointed to you. Not "your competition" in the abstract. Actual addresses. Actual storefronts. This is the part most owners have never seen, and once you see it, you understand the gap is real and fixable.

3

I tell you which 5 to 7 gaps actually matter

Not all gaps are worth fixing. Some are quick wins that move the needle in two weeks. Some are six-month projects that don't pay off for your business model. I look at what we found and tell you which fixes to do first, in order, quickest wins first. You leave with a real priority list, not a 50-item to-do that overwhelms you on Monday morning.

4

You start the first fix in the room, with me watching

Whatever's at the top of your priority list, we begin it together. If the top fix is claiming a listing, we claim it. If it's writing a profile description, we write it together and I edit it for the awkward sentences. If it's responding to a stale review, we draft the response. By the end of the workshop, the first fix is in motion, not still on a list.

Why Not Just Watch A YouTube Video

Three things YouTube cannot do for you.

A

See YOUR specific gaps, not generic ones

A tutorial tells you to "claim your listings." A workshop looks at your business in your zip code and tells you which specific listings are wrong, which are missing, and which are showing your competitor's photo where yours should be.

B

Tell you which fix to do FIRST

Every YouTube video on local visibility has 30 ideas. None of them tells you which one to do for your business this week. The whole point of priority is that someone with experience says "do this one first, ignore those for now." That's what you're paying for.

C

Make you actually start the work

The recommendation gap doesn't close from watching. It closes from doing. The workshop ends with you having done the first fix, not added it to a to-do list. That's the part that's hard to do alone.
